Purosearch are proud to be working with a long established, progressive, PSS accredited practice based in an ideal location in Cardiff. I am assisting them in their search for a Small Animal Vet to help grow and enhance their existing team of surgeons.

This truly remarkable hospital is made up of the skills and expertise of 17 vets who all have varied clinical interests making them a great bunch to work alongside and gain support from. You will have full access to excellent clinical equipment, including a CT machine, 10 consulting rooms, 6 operating theatres, a Hydrotherapy unit, a physiotherapy service (including an in-house physiotherapist for cats and dogs), dental suite, Ultrasound, diagnostic endoscopy, keyhole surgery, 2 X-Ray suites, a dedicated rabbit and exotic pet clinic, separate cat and dog waiting rooms, consulting rooms and wards - so a lot to stick your teeth into.

The hospital is also supported by 4 well equipped branch practices in addition to the brand new, state of the art hospital facility in Cardiff.
They have an excellent team of highly qualified RVNs, trainee nurses and indispensable support staff, all constantly striving to provide the best possible care to their patients, clients and one another.

The Role:

You will be required to work a 4 day week - contributing in 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota. Job share considered. Luckily there are no OOH involved in this role! So one step towards a better work life balance between no nights and a 4 day week and generous rota!

The Candidate:

To enhance their team they are ideally looking for someone who demonstrates a caring and devoted attitude. To work well in the role you will be a great team player with drive, enthusiasm and motivation to further own knowledge. You should have great communication skills, be passionate about pet advocacy and be equally at home in the theatre, as in the consulting room.
