The role of Bid Writer is based at Head Office in West Bromwich but may also involve home-based working. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all elements of the tendering process, ensuring successful bid delivery capable of securing contracts for the delivery of care and support services.
Key responsibilities will include:
Overall responsibility for the complete bid process, including handover of successful bids to the Operations Team
Review tender documentation and develop with the Directors, Regional Directors and local Manager, the appropriate tender/bid strategy
Development and coordination of bid responses, at all stages
Coordinate weekly meetings with the Operations Team, providing clear information about potential opportunities and contributing to decision-making processes
Manage Bid Pipeline information and provide updates/reports as required
Contribute to and maintain a database of bid response resources and information
Be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the production of responses to invites to tender within the care sector.
Have the ability to manage several bid processes at once.
Be self-starters, able to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
Have excellent written/verbal communication skills and IT skills.
Be analytical with good attention to detail.
