Are you experienced within children's residential and looking to make that next step into senior management?
The primary expectation for this position is to provide senior leadership and management to a group of Registered Managers. The goal is to ensure the creation of emotionally secure, consistent, warm, supportive, and caring environments for the young individuals under their care. Additionally, the role involves promoting the social, physical, emotional, intellectual, and moral development of these young people, enabling them to reach their full potential.
The Operations Director/ RI responsibilities include guiding the Registered Managers to meet the standards outlined in the Children's Homes Regulations of 2015. This entails providing direct mentoring, leadership, and management, as well as looking after their well-being. The Operations Director/ RI plays a crucial role in providing general support within the organisation.
The role is based Cheshire is a historic county in northwest England, known for its scenic countryside, charming villages, and rich Roman and medieval heritage.

Person Specification
•A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a management/leadership role in a children's residential service within the last 5 years
•A minimum of 2 years' experience supervising staff teams
•Holds Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent, or be willing to work towards
•Able to evidence Continuing Professional Development relevant to running a children's home
•Able to provide at least two written references from previous employment with children, including the reasons for leaving prior employment with children
