We have an exciting opening for a passionate and committed individual to join our team as a Deputy Manager at a Children's Home located in Solihull. This position is within a small facility dedicated to serving children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, operated by a reputable organization. Key Details:
•The residential service comprises a 3-bed setup.
•The role involves shifts, with a schedule of 2 on and 4 off.
•Active management and leadership are crucial aspects of the role.

Qualifications and Requirements:
•Previous experience in a senior/team leader or deputy manager position within a children's residential setting is essential.
•Possession of a Level 3 Children & Young People qualification is mandatory.

Main Responsibilities:
•Overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with relevant laws, protocols, policies, and the facility's Statement of Purpose.
•Providing guidance and support to staff members to enhance the well-being of young individuals, striving for excellence in care standards.
•Collaborating with the home manager to effectively manage operations.
•Acting as the manager in the absence of the Manager.
•Ensuring the delivery of high-quality care for children and young people.
•Leading, managing, and developing individuals and the team while maintaining effective quality standards.
•Conducting reviews and meetings.
•Facilitating effective induction for all staff, supervising trained staff, providing mentorship, and conducting assessments.
