Purosearch are currently looking for an experienced Clinical Service Manager to support in managing and developing a specialist mental health unit hand in hand with the General Home Manager.

The Clinical Service Manager will be solely responsible for a 30 bedded specialist unit which is part of a multi-site Nursing Home. Due to the client base a RMN qualified candidate would be preferred, however, an RGN with mental health experience will also be considered.

The regional management team are warm, approachable and incredibly supportive. This would be the perfect opportunity for an existing Unit Manager, Deputy Home Manager or Clinical Lead.

Role and Responsibilities of the Clinical Service Manager – RGN / RMN:
The successful Clinical Services Manager will be a passionate and caring social care professional and will ideally be working as a Senior Nurse, Unit Manager or a Deputy Manager at present. A willingness to work alongside your team on the floor and display best practise is a must.

Experience Required of the Clinical Service Manager – RGN/RMN:
The Clinical Service Manager will have experience of working in an older person setting/ mental health setting. The Clinical Service Manager will have worked with and mentored a small care team and have a track record of supporting more junior staff. The successful Deputy Manager will also be a Registered Nurse with Current NMC PIN and will have excellent clinical skills.
In return the successful Deputy Nursing Home Manager will receive an excellent hourly rate of £21 per hour and have access to on-going training and development. Essential Qualifications and Experience:
• Nurse qualified – RGN / RMN – Active Pin no restrictions.
• Experience at senior level – managing teams of people.
• Excellent communication skills.
• NVQ level 5 (or working towards).
• Up to date clinical skills.
• Previous experience working in a senior position within a Nursing Home environment.
