Purosearch are working with a family run care provider to recruit an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join their 28 bed residential home in Stroud, the home provides specialist residential care for the elderly and residents with dementia.
The Home Manager is looking for an experienced carer / senior carer / team leader who has worked in the care home sector for more than three years and ideally worked in a senior role. You must have the experience and knowledge to be able to lead the care and support staff on shift, promote the highest standards of care and ensure compliance. You will be hands on with the team providing training and support.
You will be provided with training and support from the home manager and from the organisation in general to help develop your management career.
To apply you must have:
- NVQ3 in Health and Social Care
- knowledge of dementia care
- understanding of CQC / Care standards
- good communication skills
