I am seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager to join a well-established nursing home located near Sevenoaks, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate nurse leader to support the delivery of high-quality care within a supportive and professional environment.
About the Role
As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the day-to-day management of the home, supporting the Registered Manager to ensure the highest standards of clinical and operational excellence. This supernumerary position allows you to focus on management, compliance, and staff development, while maintaining a strong clinical presence within the home.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Registered Manager in the effective running of the home and ensure full regulatory compliance.Maintain high standards of nursing care and clinical governance in line with CQC requirements.Lead, motivate, and mentor nursing and care teams to deliver person-centred care.Promote a positive, open, and inclusive culture across the staff team.Assist with audits, care planning, and quality assurance processes.
About You
You are NMC Registered (RGN or RMN) and have proven nursing home experience.
You have good knowledge of CQC regulations and understand what it takes to maintain excellent inspection outcomes.You are an experienced Deputy Manager seeking a new challenge, or a Registered Manager looking to step down into a supportive leadership role.You are a strong communicator, capable of leading by example and fostering teamwork.You are committed to delivering compassionate, safe, and effective care.
