Job Description:
As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their nursing home, with a specific focus on clinical excellence and resident care. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will oversee the delivery of exceptional care services while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Your leadership and clinical expertise will be essential in promoting a positive working environment and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and support to the care team, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
Assist the Home Manager in day-to-day operations, including staffing, budget management, and regulatory compliance.
Conduct regular clinical audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies.
Act as a mentor and role model for staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
Collaborate with external healthcare professionals, residents, and their families to ensure individualised care plans are developed and implemented effectively.
Demonstrate expertise in dementia care, providing guidance and support to staff in managing complex needs.
Requirements:
Qualified Nurse with valid NMC registration.
Previous experience in a Deputy Management role within a care home setting.
Strong clinical background with a focus on dementia care.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions.
Commitment to promoting resident-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
