Job Description:
Deputy Manager required to join supported living service based in the Reading area. The supported living service offers care to people with learning disabilities care and complex care needs. The home has fantastic learning disabilities care facilities.
This service is a specialist supported living service for people with learning disabilities. The home has a fantastic reputation in the local community and is highly regarded for its autism and complex care. The home has been built to the very highest standards with fantastic facilities.

Job Requirements:
• To carry responsibility for the care management of the home
• Develop the skills of the care team
• Promote and maintain a high standard of care
• To ensure effective induction of all staff, mentorship and assessment of student nurses and induction of new care staff.
Skills/ Qualifications:
• NVQ3
• Strong knowledge of the learning disabilities / autism care sector
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards.
• Must have experience at supervisory level within a supported living service
