Purosearch are currently looking for a Deputy Nurse Manager for a medium service with a GOOD cqc rating which has an excellent reputation with the local community. You will be joining an active, multi-disciplinary team who are dedicated to providing the highest standards of nursing care.
My client is looking for an experienced, innovative and dynamic Deputy Nurse Manager with a proven track record in leadership and management; you will be a key budget holder and a senior member of the management team.
This role would suit someone who relishes a challenge and has the drive and determination to continue to work alongside the staff and leadership team to continue improving the home.
Job Requirements of the Deputy Nurse Manager:
Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of residents is maintained at the highest possible standard.
Safely administering and recording of medication.
Ensuring individualised care plans for residents are kept up to date.
Ensuring effective rotas are in place.
Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers.
Monitoring and developing performance of staff.
Skills/ Qualifications of the Deputy Nurse Manager:
Experience of working in a Care Home environment.
Experience of leading a team.
RGN/RMN
Hands on practical approach, Dynamic & Enthusiastic
Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
The role:
37 hours a week
22 hours nursing, 15 supernumerary
Work Pattern: Shift, including evenings and weekends, Monday to Sunday.
