We’re looking for a dynamic Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join our team at a welcoming 65-bedded nursing dementia home in Watton. About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home. From maintaining high-quality care standards to motivating your team, your role will be vital in shaping a positive, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities

Support the overall management of the home, ensuring resident well-being is always the top priority

Lead by example, mentoring and guiding a team of healthcare professionals

Oversee care planning—conducting regular reviews and ensuring plans reflect individual needs

Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding standards

Play a key role in recruitment, rota management, and staff development

Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders

Assist with budget management, reporting, and general administration

Foster a culture of empathy, respect, and excellence in care delivery
What We’re Looking For

Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC PIN
-
Previous experience in a Deputy Home Manager or senior nursing role

A solid understanding of CQC standards and compliance frameworks

Strong communication and leadership skills with a team-first mindset

Experience in safeguarding and referral pathways

A passion for person-centred care and supporting residents with complex needs

Ability to work collaboratively with families and professionals to deliver holistic care
