Position: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Portsmouth
Job Type: Permanent Pharmacy Technician Position (full-time or part-time hours)
Pay: £25,000-£35,000 per annum (Negotiable based upon experience of Pharmacy Technician)
An opportunity has opened up for a Pharmacy Technician to join my clients GP practice in a permanent position. There is the flexibility of both part-time and full-time hours available to suit your needs in this Pharmacy Technician role. The ideal Pharmacy Technician will have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player. You will be working amongst a multidisciplinary team alongside fellow Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists.
Main Pharmacy Technician duties will consist of:
·Giving patients medical related advice
·Dispensing prescriptions
·Provide tailored and personalised solutions
·Administering vaccinations
·Checking blood pressures
·Running minor-illness clinics
·Handle patient complaints and requests
·Make patients aware of any changes to their medication and are familiar with the medicine they are taking
All Pharmacy Technicians must be registered with the GPhC to be considered for this position.
