Holiday entitlement 34 days inclusive of 8 bank holidays
The Quality Assurance Co-ordinator works across all homes and completes mock inspections, reporting findings to The Responsible Individual. The post holder will also review monthly monitoring visits under Regulation 44 of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
This role is to assist the Responsible Individual to develop the managers and homes to companies expectations, regulatory compliance, safeguarding expectations and to fulfil action plans.
Some responsibilities will include:
Work with the RI in meeting the requirements of the services to ensure they are meeting the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards to a Good level in all areas.
• Review monthly Reg 44 Inspections and reports across all homes, completing an audit trail and obtaining evidence and making actions to address any areas for development or shortfalls. Safeguarding will be prioritised.
• Oversee the Registered Managers Regulation 45 Review of quality of care and provide relevant recommendations.
• Inspect recruitment processes against Safer Recruitment guidance
Knowledge and experience needed:
Knowledge of Management theories
Knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
Social Care Qualifications
Management training & experience
Experience of managing services for children and young people, meeting quality standards of care
Experience of facilitating, organising and directing & developing teams
Experience of using child care Standards & best practise model to guide decision making
