Service Manager – Children’s Residential Services
Midlands Region | Up to £60,000 + Car Allowance + Bonuses

We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to oversee a cluster of children’s residential homes across the Midlands. This is a key leadership role within a growing organisation dedicated to providing high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people.

You’ll lead and support Registered Managers, drive quality improvements, and ensure compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards. Regular travel between homes and the central office will be required; a full UK driving licence is essential.

Package and Benefits

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting (within the last 7 years)
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Experience supporting young people with emotional, behavioural, or neurodiverse needs
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations across multiple homes
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Home Managers and senior teams
  • Conduct audits and drive quality improvement plans
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and support Ofsted standards
