Children’s Home Manager
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000
Location: Liverpool
Home Type: 2-bed EBD home

Are you a passionate and experienced Children’s Home Manager seeking your next challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in opening and managing a brand-new 2-bed EBD home in Liverpool.

Your expertise in delivering exceptional care and your focus on quality placements will ensure every child receives the best possible support — we value meaningful care over occupancy rates.

You’ll work alongside a committed and experienced team, including a supportive Deputy Manager, a knowledgeable Responsible Individual, and a hands-on owner with deep industry experience. Join a respected and growing organization with an ambitious vision for children’s care. With a supportive culture and clear career progression opportunities — including the potential to become an Area Manager as the network expands — this company draws on global childcare expertise to make a positive impact across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation and policies.
  • Lead, support, and motivate your team to provide exceptional care and outcomes for young people.
  • Take a proactive role in recruiting, onboarding, and developing staff.
  • Drive continuous improvement through training, supervision, and reflective practice.

This position is also an excellent step up for an experienced Deputy Manager ready to progress into a Registered Manager role.

Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience managing or deputising within children’s residential care.
  • Ofsted registration experience and thorough understanding of regulations (desirable).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.

If you’re ready to make a real difference and lead this exciting new service, we’d love to hear from you.
