Job Title: Registered Children’s Home Manager
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
Location: Salford
Home Size: 1-bed service
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a small, specialist residential service in Salford. This is a rewarding opportunity to shape a nurturing and high-quality environment for children and young people with complex needs and behaviours.

Your Role
As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop a new, innovative children’s residential service
- Recruit, support, and manage a motivated, high-performing care team
- Set and review clear goals and performance targets
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with young people, families, and external partners
- Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and safeguarding for all children in placement
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising or managing staff
- At least 2 years’ experience in residential childcare (ideally as a Deputy Manager)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Proven ability to provide consistent, nurturing care to young people
- Experience supporting children with complex or challenging behaviours
- Flexibility to cover shifts when required
