Job Title: Registered Manager - Residential Home
Location: Near Eastbourne, East Sussex

I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of a small Residential Home located near Eastbourne, East Sussex. As a pivotal member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to their residents, with a particular focus on individuals with dementia, challenging behaviours, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Residential Home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Provide leadership and direction to a dedicated team of care staff, promoting a culture of compassion, respect, and professionalism.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents, with a focus on dementia, challenging behaviours, and mental health.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders, maintaining open communication and addressing concerns effectively.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, safeguarding procedures, and infection control protocols.
Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet the needs of residents and maintain the smooth running of the Residential Home.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a residential care setting, with a strong understanding of CQC standards and regulations.
Extensive experience working with individuals with dementia, challenging behaviours, and mental health needs, demonstrating empathy, patience, and resilience.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver outstanding care.
Ideally, hold a QCF Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
A commitment to continuous professional development, staying updated with the latest developments in care practices and regulations.
