I am currently aiding a wonderful Norfolk based practice as they look to expand their elite team of 7 Veterinary Surgeons. The practice is offering a fantastic opportunity for somebody to take up a senior position within the organisation, offering a perfect platform for an experienced Vet Surgeon to continue their professional growth and development.

The Practice:
A part of the local community for over 100 years, this practice is revered among their extensive client base owing to the vast array of services and high-quality treatment that they offer their patients. In order for you to practice in accordance with these high standards the recently built clinic is stocked with a range of fantastic equipment including radiography, ultrasound, endoscope, a top of the range in house lab and dental suite plus much much more! As a mixed practice, the team operates across three key disciplines; Small Animal, Exotics and Equine medicine however, they are an incredibly tight knit “family” who have cultivated a fantastic culture and atmosphere within the practice over the years.

• Separate feline, canine and exotic hospital
• 2 theatres
• Dental suite
• Digital X-Rays
• Endoscope
• Ultrasound with probe
• In house Lab
• Tonometer

The Candidate:
To thrive in this position, you will need to have great communication skills and a fun loving, outgoing demeanour. Clinically you will have at least three years UK experience and will be confident in conducting all routine surgery and consultations in addition to handling and working up more complex cases. Ideally you will be driven to develop and take the next steps in your career as this opportunity offers a fantastic chance to progress and further enhance your career.

The Role:
• Senior Vet position with the opportunity of progression
• 4.5 days per week
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
• Inclusion in OOHs rota 1 in 10 (until full night team is recruited)
• Interesting a diverse case load
• Exotic case load if that is of interest

The Package:
• Salary up to £60,000 dependent on experience
• £1,750 CPD allowance plus 5 days
