I have a wonderful opportunity for a talented Team Leader to join a North West based leading Care Company who are dedicated to providing person centered and high quality care to the elderly and people living with dementia.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Support Worker/ Senior Support Worker / Team Leader to join a company that truly cares and values their staff. The organisation has a medium portfolio of Homes that are situated across the North West and are highly regarded.
The Role:
As a Team Leader you will be a positive and caring person with the desire to help others. In this job role it is essential you are organised with exceptional communication and leadership skills. You will have previous experience as a Support Worker / Senior Support Worker within an elderly setting and have a desire to make a difference to people’s lives.

Within the role of Team Leader your shifts will be during the day and you will oversee a small team of care staff. You will have excellent management skills and fantastic communication skills. The ideal Team Leader will have experience of working with the Elderly in either a Care Home or Home Care setting. You will have experience of managing and administering medication with a true passion for caring for vulnerable adults and the elderly.

This is a company that invests in their staff team. You will be provided with on-going training and support.
Requirements of the Team Leader:
• Previous experience supporting the elderly at Team Leader/ Senior Support Worker level.
• NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care.
• Previous or existing experience of managing a staff team.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Experience of administering medication.
• Good knowledge of safe guarding and CQC requirements.
