Our vision is to be the recruitment partner that clients and candidates always choose to connect with.
It’s our purpose to always go “The Extra Mile” and provide our clients and candidates with the best recruitment experience they will have encountered.
Above all, we are a company of passionate recruiters who love to have meaningful experiences with our candidates and clients.
Having spent a number of years living in London, Stephen set up Purosearch in 2006 which enabled him to move back to Manchester. Previously he worked at one of the UK’s leading tech recruitment organisations, where he managed recruitment teams across four UK locations. Stephen is a lifelong fan of Manchester United; he enjoys both ski & summer holidays and when he is not busy with his family he can be found on the golf course.
Upon graduation, Rachael joined one of the largest recruitment companies in the UK and throughout her time there she established herself as one of the pivotal managers within her division. Rachael is responsible for the Financial and Business Support functions within Purosearch. When Rachael is not running around after her two daughters she can be found in the gym, horse riding or walking Molly the Cockapoo.
After graduating with a degree in history, Brett joined a large technical recruiting company as a trainee consultant working his way up to main board director. After many years of working at director level for large blue chip companies in London, Brett moved to beautiful Yorkshire and to Purosearch. He has three young daughters who keep him incredibly busy but when he has some free time he enjoys the great outdoors and keeping fit.

Our employees are our greatest asset. We’ll value you and offer plenty of reasons to keep you happy and motivated. The role of a Recruitment Consultant is competitive, but we see that as a good thing because you only get out what you put in.
We have one of the most generous commission schemes in the industry and other ongoing incentives. In the end it’s a place where you can perform at a high level, have a great work-life balance and the chance to shape your career. Isn’t that what it’s all about?
