Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) – Coventry
Location: Coventry
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time
About the Role
We are recruiting for a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a progressive, patient-focused GP practice in Coventry. The successful candidate will work independently, undertaking clinical assessment, diagnostics, treatment, and evaluation, while contributing to the wider multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with undifferentiated conditions
- Manage acute, urgent, and chronic presentations within scope of practice
- Undertake clinical examinations, prescribe independently, and request/interpret diagnostic investigations
- Provide high-quality consultations via face-to-face, telephone, and digital platforms
- Support long-term condition management and personalised care planning
- Contribute to QOF and practice performance
- Maintain accurate, concise clinical documentation in line with professional and practice standards
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and service development
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- MSc/PG Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent experience
- Independent Prescriber (V300)
- Proven experience working autonomously in a primary care or urgent care environment
- Strong clinical decision-making, diagnostic, and communication skills
- Ability to work confidently within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable Experience
- Experience with EMIS Web or other primary care clinical systems
- Background in chronic disease management
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
