The Role
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will work autonomously, assessing, diagnosing and treating patients presenting with a wide range of acute and minor illness presentations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Independent assessment, diagnosis and management of patients
- Prescribing where qualified
- Managing same-day and urgent care appointments
- Ordering and interpreting investigations
- Referring patients appropriately within primary and secondary care
- Health promotion and preventative care
- Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes

Candidate Requirements
The practice is looking for an experienced clinician who is:
- A Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Qualified as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- An Independent Prescriber (or working towards qualification)
- Experienced within Primary Care or General Practice
- Confident working autonomously while recognising when to escalate care
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centred care
- A positive team player with excellent communication skills
