About the Practice:

A well-established and highly reputable medical practice in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join its dedicated team. Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be a crucial part of the healthcare team, delivering comprehensive healthcare services and managing a diverse caseload. This role requires an ANP who can work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, making a significant impact on patient care in the growing Cardiff community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic investigations.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans for both acute and chronic conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in line with clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Provide patient education and promote health to support self-management and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to developing clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Mentor and support junior staff and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current NMC registration.
  • Master's degree in Advanced Practice or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive experience in primary care or acute care settings.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
