An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a dynamic and compassionate Same Day Service team based in Farnham, Surrey. This role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, providing immediate care to patients with urgent medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality, patient-focused care for a variety of acute and urgent conditions.
  • Assessing, diagnosing, and managing a range of medical conditions, including prescribing treatments as necessary.
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Providing health promotion advice and supporting patients in managing their ongoing healthcare needs.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date patient records in line with clinical governance and professional standards.
  • Demonstrating excellent communication skills with patients and colleagues, ensuring clarity in treatment plans.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration.
  • Master's degree in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
  • Independent prescribing qualification.
  • Extensive experience in an urgent care, primary care, or emergency setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and a deep understanding of managing acute medical conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Same Day Service or urgent care services.
  • Knowledge of local health services and networks.
