Position: Care Home Manager
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: Up to £55,000
I am recruiting a Care Home Manager for a lovely care home in Laindon, Basildon. As a Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for making sure all residents receive the best person centred care while understanding their needs and learning their interests.
For this role, you will be an experienced Care Home Manager with the relevant qualifications.
Roles and Responsibilities for a Care Home Manager:
• Manage staff and continuously provide them with information, guidance and on going support.
• Work alongside your area manager to ensure that the CQC compliance criteria is met by having a good relationship with other health care professionals you will be working with.
• Oversee the day to day running of the home
• Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained, adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
• Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels to ensure the effective delivery of services.
• Conduct regular assessments and reviews of resident care plans, making necessary adjustments to meet changing needs.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
To succeed in this role as a Care Home Manager you will:
• Have your Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5, or willing to study for one
• Have experience as a Registered Care Home Manager
• Have experience and knowledge of working in dementia, residential and nursing care
• Have experience managing a care team
• Strong understanding of the care inspectorate, safeguarding and compliance
• Fantastic communication skills
• Leadership skills
