Job title - Care Unit Manager (Day / Night)
Location - Barnet
Salary - £15 - £16ph
Purosearch have teamed up with an award winning care provider in North London looking for an experienced Unit Manager to oversee the care at their 50 bedded residential home. (Full time Day shifts or Full time Night shifts available)
Your role is essential in providing leadership and motivation for the team, promoting our values.
You will be in charge of the day / night activity of your unit and be a supportive mentor to our team of Carers, ensuring they are up to date with best practice in care and documentation. Your management experience will be focussed on delivering the best care as well as assessing the physical, mental and social needs of our residents in a caring, kind and respectful manner, whilst ensuring a warm and friendly relationship with residents and relatives alike.

Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Team player
Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes
Satisfactory DBS check
Minimum N/SVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent
Previous supervisory experience
Experience/Qualification in the Safe Handling of Medicines
