Key Responsibilities:

•Provide high-quality care tailored to the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of the children.
•Comply with Children's Acts, Children's Homes Regulations, and relevant legislation.
•Lead and support a dedicated staff team, offering supervision and training.
•Regularly update children's care plans to reflect their evolving needs.
•Participate in meetings and reviews as required.
•Support children in achieving their goals and full potential.
•Empower children to be active participants in decisions about their lives.

Essential Requirements:
•Minimum 2 years in residential child care, including 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
•Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to start within 6 months.
•Familiarity with childcare legislation, The Quality Standards, and regulatory requirements.
•Strong leadership, planning, and budget management skills.
•Confident in written and verbal communication.
•Understanding of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.
•Full UK driving license required.
