An outstanding chance awaits a Deputy Home Manager to become a part of the Dudley residence. The home has earned a commendable "Good" rating across all categories with OFSTED and boasts an exceptional standing within the local authorities. This facility can house a maximum of 5 young individuals, all of whom we support have learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, and may exhibit associated behaviours. A significant portion of the children, though not all, are non-verbal or possess limited communication abilities, often relying on alternative methods like picture boards, Smart box devices, and Makaton for communication.
The home is based in Sutton Coldfield, a historic town adorned with elegant architecture and nestled amidst picturesque landscapes. Sutton Coldfield benefits from extensive transport links, including well-connected rail services, reliable bus networks, and proximity to major roadways facilitating easy access to Birmingham and beyond.
Required qualifications and attributes:
•Prior experience within a Residential Childcare Environment.
•Possession of a Level 3 Children's and Young People qualification or an equivalent.
•Valid driver's license (a company-provided car is available during working hours).
•Flexibility to work during unsociable hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
