If you're a seasoned Registered Manager seeking fresh horizons with a dynamic, forward-thinking company, then seize this exceptional opportunity.

This provider is in search of a resilient leader to bolster our ranks and spearhead the launch of our new Activity and Intervention service. This service provides short-term placements for children and young people, featuring a 12-week program rich in adventurous activities, therapeutic care, and education, all facilitated through AQAs and experiential learning.

You will enjoy robust backing from their management echelon, with support extending from the director down to fellow Service Managers in your region. The Head of Activity and Intervention Services has progressed from this role, ensuring a deep understanding of your role and the best ways to assist you. Within your team, you'll find support from two Deputy Managers and administrative staff.

The role is based in Buxton nestled in the heart of the Peak District, beckons with its quaint charm and natural beauty. Buxton enjoys excellent transport links, with convenient connections via road, rail, and bus networks, ensuring seamless travel in and out of the town.

About You:

You bring substantial experience from the residential childcare sector, coupled with prior management roles. Your dedication is evident in your commitment to delivering top-tier care in alignment with OFSTED regulations. Moreover, your familiarity with SCCIF guidelines ensures a focus on the pivotal aspects of children's lives.
Your expertise extends to navigating the complexities of EBD, SEMH, and other challenging behaviour needs of young individuals. Possessing a valid UK Driving License and access to a vehicle for business purposes underscores your practical approach to the role.
While advantageous, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People's Residential Management) is not mandatory. However, supervisory or management experience is imperative to meet OFSTED regulations.
