Purosearch seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Children's Home Manager for a small service catering to children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, offering a salary range of £45,000 to £55,000 and on target earnings of up to £60,000. Job Requirements:
•Establishing and developing a new children's service
•Managing and fostering team development and cohesion
•Setting and reviewing targets and objectives for the staff team
•Promoting partnership-based practices with young people and their families
•Ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for the children
Ideal Candidate:
•Minimum two years of staff supervision experience
•At least two years of relevant experience in residential care of children, preferably as a Deputy Manager
•Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
•Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare
•Full driving license is essential
•Ability to provide consistent care and support to young people
•Experience working with children displaying challenging behaviour
•Flexibility in scheduling, able to cover when required
