Are you an experienced children's home manager seeking an illustrious career?

As the Manager, you will:
- Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of the children, managing any safeguarding or child protection concerns promptly and in line with regulations.
- Deliver high-quality care that meets the children's physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and cultural needs. Provide a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment where they can feel secure and safe.
- Work within the frameworks of the 1989 and 2004 Children's Acts, the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and other relevant legislation.
- Promote and support each child's education, maintaining their school attendance.
- Lead, develop and supervise a dedicated staff team, ensuring they receive the support and training they need to excel.
- Oversee the creation and amendment of each child's care plan to reflect their evolving needs.
- Chair and participate in meetings and reviews as required.
- Champion the children's ambitions, helping them achieve their goals and maximize their potential.
- Empower the children and facilitate their active involvement in decisions about their lives and futures.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 3 Children and Young People's qualification or equivalent (essential)
- Level 5 Leadership and Management - Children's (desirable)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior residential childcare role
- Strong knowledge of care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support
- Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, families, and staff
- In-depth understanding of relevant regulations and statutory guidance
