Location: Coventry, UK Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
About Us:
Welcome to a new beginning! We are thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new, medium to low risk Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) Children's Home. This is our very first home, and we are dedicated to creating a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment for our young residents.
The Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Children's Home Manager to lead and oversee our three-bedded home. As the pioneer of our new service, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our home and ensuring the highest standards of care and support for the children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
• Lead and develop a dedicated team of care staff, providing guidance, supervision, and training.
• Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and practices in line with Ofsted regulations and best practices.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and individual support plans.
• Ensure the home meets and exceeds all regulatory and quality standards.
About You:
• Proven experience in managing a children's home or a similar setting.
• Demonstrated success in bringing a new service to life, with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and a track record of achieving or maintaining good Ofsted ratings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.
