Children’s Home Manager
Location: Curdworth, Warwickshire, B76
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per annum, depending on experience
Home Size: 3-bed EBD Children’s Home
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000–£60,000 per annum depending on experience.
- Up to £6,000 KPI bonus available.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing a children’s residential home.
- Previous experience achieving successful Ofsted outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a residential care team.
- Experience working with children with EBD and a strong understanding of their individual needs.
- Ability to remain calm and effective when working under pressure.
- Strong organisational, communication and decision-making skills.
- A determined and passionate individual who is committed to making a genuine difference to the lives of young people.
- Flexible approach to supporting the needs of the home and shared management responsibilities.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the 3-bed EBD children’s home.
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing residential care team.
- Ensure the home operates in line with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, safeguarding requirements and Ofsted expectations.
- Promote a safe, nurturing and child-centred environment that supports positive outcomes.
- Oversee care planning, safeguarding, risk management and the welfare of young people.
- Manage staffing, performance, training and team development.
- Build positive relationships with young people, families, social workers and other external professionals.
- Monitor the quality of care and drive continuous improvement across the home.
- Manage budgets, resources and operational performance effectively.
- Prepare for and support Ofsted inspections, ensuring the home maintains high standards of compliance.
- Work collaboratively with the senior management team to achieve organisational goals and maintain excellent outcomes for young people.
- Participate in the shared management on-call rota.
