Team Leader – Children's Residential
Location: Haigh, near Wigan, WN2
Home Size: Children's Residential Home
Salary: £41,346 per annum (including an average of 8 sleep-ins per month)

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within children's residential care
- Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Children's Residential or Children's Workforce
- Full manual UK driving licence (essential)
- Experience supporting and supervising team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and cover shifts as required
- Comfortable using electronic care recording systems and maintaining accurate records
- Experience using Clearcare is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Must be passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes
- Sponsorship is not available for this role
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Support young people with their daily routines, including getting ready for school, mealtimes and activities
- Supervise, mentor and support a team of Residential Support Workers
- Ensure children and young people receive the highest level of care and support
- Provide timely updates to the Home Management Team
- Complete an average of 8 overnight sleep-ins per month
- Promote an individualised approach to care and support
- Monitor care plans and produce reports for managers
- Create a warm and homely environment, including light housekeeping duties
- Build meaningful relationships and provide emotional support to young people
- Plan and participate in activities such as trips to the park, movie nights and creative projects
- Maintain accurate electronic records and update care documentation on a daily basis
- Support the creation of a safe, stable and nurturing environment where young people can thrive
