I am recruiting a Clinical Lead for a well-established healthcare provider in Harrow, dedicated to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.
As the Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained, and leading a team of healthcare professionals. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing clinical policies, driving quality improvement initiatives, and providing expert clinical guidance.
Key Responsibilities as a Clinical Lead:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of clinical staff, ensuring their development and well-being.
• Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and procedures to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
• Monitor and evaluate clinical performance, implementing quality improvement initiatives where necessary.
• Provide expert clinical advice and support to staff, patients, and their families.
• Participate in the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
• Keep up to date with the latest advancements in healthcare to ensure the organisation continues to lead in clinical excellence.
Essential skills and qualifications for Clinical Lead:
• Registered nurse with valid NMC pin
• Experience in a clinical leadership role, with a proven track record of managing teams and improving clinical standards.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and clinical governance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
This post includes 24 hours of clinical duties and up to 12 hours management duties. The post requires some clinical hours and some supernumerary hours as specified above. This will depend on the need of the service.

FNC
DoLS / LPS
Quality Assurance
Clinical Audits
Safeguarding Alert and process
CQC notifications
Supervision Appraisal
Care Reviews
Rota management
Managing nurses and care staff who are on duty
And good clinical knowledge of nursing for elderly people.
