Our fantastic client, a market leading, family-owned care group which operates around 80 homes across the UK, is looking for an inspirational leader to commission a brand-new, 60-bedded, purpose-built luxury care home in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing, family-owned care group and make your mark on an exceptional new care facility.
The home will offer the very best in Nursing, Dementia, Residential & Respite care, and are seeking someone with commissioning experience to ensure the home is set up for success from day one.
What's in it for you?
• Salary between £80,000 - £90,000 per annum
• Annual bonus (40% of salary), OTE of £119,000

As the Commissioning Home Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Driving occupancy from scratch
• Building your own team and managing the recruitment strategy
• Ensuring profit and loss is in line with budget
• Maintaining compliance with business governance, risk management and operational processes
• Registering the service with Local Authorities
• Creating HR functions for the care home
• Promoting marketing ideas to boost the home's reputation
Requirements:
• Nurse Pin or equivalent certification preferred but not required
• Demonstrated success in commercial operations
• Proven ability to lead and manage large, cross-functional teams
• Experience in commissioning processes highly valued
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Home Manager with experience in senior management, a proven track record in the elderly care setting, and strong commercial acumen. Previous commissioning experience is advantageous but not essential.
