Deputy Care Manager – £46,000

Salary: £46,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our established care service in York, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to older people, including those living with dementia.

This is a key leadership role working closely with the Registered Manager. You will support the day-to-day management of the service, lead and develop the care team, maintain high standards and ensure residents receive safe, compassionate and dignified care.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Level 4 Health & Social Care qualification, or willingness to work towards it.
• Proven Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager or strong Senior Care experience.
• A strong background in elderly and dementia care.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• A good understanding of safeguarding, care planning and CQC requirements.
• The confidence to lead a team and take responsibility.
• A stable employment history with demonstrable longevity in previous roles.
