Position: Deputy Manager
Location: Banstead, Surrey
Salary: £32,000
Hours: 40
My client is looking for a compassionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join their dedicated team at a lovely care home located near Banstead, Surrey. Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and support to a team of care staff.
Oversee daily operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Conduct supervisions and appraisals with staff members to support their development.
Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist in the planning and delivery of care for residents, particularly those with dementia.
Ideal Candidate:
Must have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Must be willing to work towards achieving an NVQ Level 5.
Proven experience in dementia care.
Confident in conducting supervisions and supporting staff development.
A team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
Additional Information:
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, mostly supernumerary
Interview Process: One-stage interview.
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
