Position: Clinical Deputy Manager - Medium-Sized Nursing Home
Location: Near Crawley, West Sussex
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Full-time, 40 hours per week (supernumerary hours)
Are you an experienced registered nurse looking for an exciting leadership opportunity in a growing care provider? My client is seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Deputy Manager to join a team at a well-established, medium-sized nursing home located near Crawley, West Sussex.
About the Role:
As the Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to the residents while supporting the home's day-to-day clinical operations. You will work closely with the Home Manager and be responsible for managing and supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting person-centred care.
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position, with supernumerary hours, offering up to £50,000 per annum for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the delivery of excellent clinical care to residents, with a focus on dignity, respect, and person-centred care.
Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring high standards of care and adherence to best practices.
Monitor and manage the clinical environment to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care.
Work closely with the Home Manager to achieve business objectives and improve service quality.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including CQC standards.
Manage care plans and assessments, especially for residents living with dementia.
Participate in training, development, and mentorship of nursing and care staff.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) with active NMC registration.
Proven experience in a nursing home setting.
Strong experience in dementia care, with a passion for supporting individuals living with dementia.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A compassionate, patient, and professional approach to care delivery.
