Purosearch are looking for an exceptional Deputy Manager to join an established team in a modern, luxury Nursing home located in the Greenock area of the central belt. The medium sized Nursing home, rated at 3's with CI is owned by a leading Scottish provider with a fantastic reputation across Scotland. The home caters for the elderly alongside a variety of specialist care categories & has a great connection with the local community.
Skills and Experience for the role of Deputy Manager:
• You will already hold current registration with the NMC and have a relevant nursing qualification (RGN, RMN).
• Experience in a Deputy Manager position within a Nursing Home environment.
• Exceptional people mgmt. & communication skills & a passion for care
The role of Deputy Manager:
• You will be involved in continuous assessments to plan and evaluate the needs of the residents, at the same time as coaching your team members and role modelling best practice.
• Your day will be varied, including; recruitment, ensuring safe staffing levels, making sure your Home meets legislative and regulatory requirements and undertaking ongoing care assessments.
• You will work a 100% supernumerary role, although you may need to cover clinical shifts as and when.
