Dual Children's Home Manager
Up to £80,000 per annum
3 bed and 2 bed
Bilston and Sedgley

This provider is seeking a highly experienced and qualified candidate to join their team as a Dual Manager, overseeing two of their established children's residential homes one rated good and the other taken out of compliance and is on track to improve drastically in the first inspection since. These homes, located a short distance from each other, collectively provide care and support for up to five young people. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned manager to excel in dual registration management.

Monetary Benefits:
•Ofsted rating bonuses up to £3,000
•Occupancy bonuses up to £250 per month
•Quarterly bonuses up to £450 for Reg 44 and internal audits

Key Responsibilities:
•Ensure the well-being of young people, meeting their individual needs.
•Guarantee both homes operate in compliance with OFSTED regulations, care standards, company policies, and legislative requirements.
•Offer training, supervision, and support to staff, fostering a respectful and empowering work environment.
•Provide strong leadership to ensure the homes are efficiently managed and well-staffed to deliver exceptional care.
•Oversee the budget, safety, and medication administration within the homes.
•Keep detailed records and documentation, providing regular updates to the Operations Manager and Responsible Individual.
•Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines, conducting regular reviews and addressing any issues.
•Assist in the hiring, selection, and onboarding of new staff, ensuring all checks and training are completed.

To be considered for this role, you should have:
•A proven track record working with Ofsted
•Experience working with children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
•Compassion and empathy
•Experience in commissioning
•A relevant management qualification, ideally Level 5 in Leadership & Management
•A strong understanding of OFSTED regulations and related legislation
•Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
•The ability to manage pressure and handle challenging situations
•A commitment to continuous professional development
