Brand new opening has arisen for a Nursing Home Manager to join a beautiful nursing home in the Weymouth, Dorset area. You will join an amazing company in a market leading care home.
You will manage a delightfully presented nursing home which is a luxury service. The nursing home boasts fantastic facilities including beautiful gardens, cafe and physical attributes including beautiful interiors and bedrooms, etc. It is an excellent environment that has been designed specifically for the care of elderly service users. The home caters for nursing, residential, respite care and dementia sufferers. This nursing home is very highly rated in its local area.
My client seeks an experienced and caring Nursing Home Manager / Registered Manager with a stable background and strong knowledge of elderly care. Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager candidates should come from a nursing background and should have an active NMC pin - ideally RGN or RMN, however, experienced non-nurse qualified managers will still be considered. You will manage a clinical team of nurses and help to ensure that the care delivered to service users continues to be delivered in an excellent fashion. You will join a caring, compassionate organisation whose primary aim is to ensure a high standard of life for all service users.
As Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager you will have full responsibility for the home this will include hiring new staff, overseeing training and home promotion. As Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager you will ensure compliance with CQC standards and liaise effectively with CQC Inspectors. Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager candidates should display solid business skills including successfully filling beds and developing the homes profile within the local community.
The successful candidate will be:
-Nurse qualified - Ideally hold RGN or RMN nursing qualification - Non-Nurses still considered
-Nursing home management experience
-Strong elderly care experience
-Knowledge of CQC legislation / marketing / high calibre care provision
