Our client is a respected provider of person-centred care and support services for individuals with learning disabilities in the Oxford area. We are committed to empowering and improving the lives of those we serve. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Disabilities Service Manager with expertise in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to join our passionate team.

Position Overview:
As the Learning Disabilities Service Manager with PBS knowledge, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of specialized care services to individuals with learning disabilities. Your expertise in PBS will be integral in ensuring that our services are both effective and compassionate. You will lead a team of compassionate professionals, maintain high standards of care, and drive the implementation of PBS strategies to enhance the quality of life for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team to foster a culture of person-centered care and support.
PBS Implementation: Utilize your expertise in Positive Behaviour Support to develop, implement, and monitor PBS strategies tailored to individual service users' needs.
Staff Development: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they are skilled in PBS principles and can effectively implement them in daily care.
Care Planning: Collaborate with service users, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and review individualized care plans.
Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Budget Management: Responsible for budget management and financial accountability within the department.
Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their inclusion and autonomy.
Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience in the learning disabilities field, with a strong knowledge of PBS.
Positive Behaviour Support knowledge is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
