Purosearch are currently working with an esteemed learning disabilities care provider. They wish to appoint a Learning Disabilities Service Manager. The service is based in the Portsmouth / Hampshire area. This service is a care provider for people with learning difficulties, autism, mental health and complex needs. The service delivers complex care, physical disabilities and learning disabilities care.
The Learning Disabilities / Mental Health Service Manager will be responsible for the management of care to people with learning disabilities and mental health care needs in the community and in supported living services.
Learning Disabilities Care Manager candidates should have strong hands on management skills, successful track record of obtaining good CQC reports and horough knowledge of the autism and learning disabilities care sector.
Registered Manager candidates should have strong background in learning disabilities care, autism care.
The successful candidate will need to be:
• An experienced Learning Disabilities Service Manager / Care Home Manager
• Learning disabilities / autism care experience
• Good understanding of CQC and regulations.
• Strong leadership skills and staff management.
