Are you an experienced Registered Manager in the Mental Health / Complex Care / Learning Disabilities sector?

We're looking for an exceptional Registered Manager to join a developing care provider in their new residential service specialising in adult learning disabilities.

This is a rare opportunity to manage a small, therapeutic service where quality of care always comes before occupancy numbers. You'll have the freedom to lead the service your way, supported by an experienced senior leadership team that values innovation, professional judgement and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a Registered Service Manager who is passionate about recovery-focused care, developing teams and delivering outstanding outcomes for people living with complex mental health needs.

About the role

As Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the service, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, governance and regulatory compliance.

Working alongside our multidisciplinary teams and external professionals, you'll create an environment where residents feel safe, respected and empowered to achieve their recovery goals.

This is a role for someone who enjoys making decisions, leading positive change and building a culture where both residents and staff can thrive. You'll have genuine autonomy to influence the direction of the service while being supported by an experienced and approachable senior leadership team.

What you'll be responsible for

Leading the day-to-day management of the service.

Maintaining our Good CQC rating and driving continuous quality improvement.

Creating a positive, recovery-focused culture for residents and staff.

Leading, motivating and developing a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Ensuring excellent clinical governance and regulatory compliance.

Overseeing care planning, safeguarding and risk management.

Managing budgets, resources and service performance.

Building positive relationships with residents, families, commissioners and external professionals.

Promoting continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to further enhance the quality of the service.

We are looking for;

Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a mental health setting.

Excellent knowledge of CQC standards, governance and safeguarding.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Experience in medication management, risk assessment and clinical oversight.

The ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams.

A passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred mental health care.
