Clinical Lead – Nursing Home
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
About the Clinical Lead Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Lead to join our highly regarded nursing home in Abingdon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse ready to take the next step into leadership, or for an established Clinical Lead seeking a new challenge in a supportive and well-run environment. Clinical Lead candidates must be experienced nurses with management experience within a nursing home setting.
Key Responsibilities of the nursing home deputy manager / nursing home clinical lead:
Lead and manage all clinical operations within the home
Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations and CQC standards
Provide leadership and support to nursing and care teams
Design and implement personalised care plans
Collaborate with GPs, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
Monitor residents’ health outcomes and adapt care as needed
Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation
Respond effectively to clinical concerns or incidents
What We’re Looking For:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC PIN
Proven experience in a clinical leadership role is highly desirable
In-depth understanding of current healthcare standards and legislation
Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
Organised, proactive, and solution-focused
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred care
