Salary; £75,000 plus bonus
Job Description:
Purosearch is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursing home facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality care, and the ability to manage staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home to ensure high standards of care
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and care quality
- Handle budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation
- Maintain relationships with residents and their families, addressing any concerns or needs
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and other external parties
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents and staff
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and resource allocation
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations
- Compassion and dedication to improving resident care and wellbeing
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in healthcare management or nursing
- Valid nursing license (if applicable)
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
