Nursing Home Manager (Nurse or Non-Nurse)
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 per annum
Location: Forfar
We are seeking an experienced and resilient Nursing Home Manager to lead and stabilise a care home currently undergoing significant improvement and transformation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong manager with proven turnaround experience who thrives in challenging environments and is passionate about raising standards, improving compliance, and leading teams through change.
We are looking for a confident and capable leader who can take ownership, rebuild morale, drive performance, and deliver high-quality care standards.
The Role
• Provide strong operational and clinical leadership across the home
• Lead the home through a period of change and improvement
• Drive compliance, governance, and quality standards
• Manage staffing, performance, recruitment, and team development
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external stakeholders
• Ensure the home delivers safe, person-centred care
• Prepare for and manage regulatory inspections
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager or Registered Manager
• Nurse qualified or non-nurse candidates considered
• Strong management background within elderly care/care homes
• Proven turnaround experience is essential
• Confident managing compliance challenges and improving standards
• Resilient, organised, and able to lead under pressure
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
