Purosearch are working in partnership with a wonderful care provider who require a new Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager to oversee a luxury care home / nursing home based in the Reading, Berkshire area. Commutable from all Berkshire areas such Reading, Slough, Maidenhead, High Wycombe etc.
As Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager you will oversee the management of a beautiful nursing home. This nursing home is a wonderful older property that has been renovated to the highest possible standards. This home delivers the best possible care to elderly people with dementia care needs. The home also delivers care to people with complex care needs and high clinical care needs.
Our client prefers to hire an experienced Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager. Nursing Home Manager candidate's should ideally be Nurse qualified and can have either RGN or RMN qualifications. Nursing Home Manager's without an NMC pin but with strong knowledge of nursing care will be considered. Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager candidates should have a proven track record of overseeing care homes with excellent resident care delivery and CQC reports. Nursing Home Manager candidate's should have strong dementia care knowledge.
The successful Nursing Home Manager / Care Home Manager candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
-Nurse qualification RGN / RMN - preferred NOT essential
-Proven track record of successful care home management
-Proven success in the nursing home sector
-Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
Duties will include:
-Overall responsibility of the nursing home
-Staff management/appraisals/Training within the nursing home
-Care plans/reviews/meetings
-Budget management for the home
Ideal candidates should have worked as a: Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager, Elderly Care Manager, Dementia Care Manager, Registered Manager, Registered Home Manager, Registered Nursing Home, Area Manager, Peripatetic Manager, Nurse, Reading, Berkshire etc.
