Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor
Salary: £37,000 to £43,000 depending on experience
Location: Slough Job type: Part time 2 days per week + additional 6 days per year
The Role
In this key role you provide day to day clinical support to client’s employees and liaise with key customer personnel to ensure the delivery of a high-quality Occupational Health Service.
Key Responsibilities
You will carry out medical assessments by phone and in person, including health surveillance, safety-critical medicals, and biological monitoring. You will provide travel health advice, support workplace first aiders, and help deliver health and wellbeing initiatives. You will ensure all work meets company policies and professional clinical standards. You will also keep clinical rooms clean and well maintained and ensure equipment calibration records are accurate and up to date.
What we are looking for:
Previous experience in Occupational Health is essential, including case management and completing pre-placement health questionnaires. You should have experience carrying out health surveillance and safety-critical medical assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important, along with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload effectively.
